Is the Garant Sleigh Pusher worth it?

For wide, flat driveways it is a fast, low-effort tool, and at $73.34 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026 it is a reasonable buy. It is less suited to deep drifts or gravel.

How is it different from a regular snow shovel?

A sleigh pusher moves snow forward along the ground instead of lifting and throwing it. That makes it faster on large areas but useless for stacking snow high.

What is the blade made of?

The 24-inch blade is poly with a steel wear strip along the bottom edge to resist scraping on pavement.

How much does it weigh?

About 11.7 lb (5.3 kg), light for its width thanks to the poly blade.

Does it work on gravel driveways?

Poorly. The wear strip and blade are designed for hard, smooth surfaces, and the leading edge can catch on loose gravel.

Snow tools usually drop in price late in the season and in off-season sales. Track its price history to see when it has sold below $73.34.
