Is $725 a good price for the Fenix 8 51mm AMOLED Sapphire?

Yes. That is well below the usual new price for this model, which has run in the high hundreds to over $1,000. Check that the eBay listing includes Garmin's warranty.

How is it different from the Fenix 7?

The Fenix 8 adds an AMOLED screen option, a speaker and microphone for calls, a built-in flashlight on all sizes, and a refreshed interface. Battery life is shorter than the Fenix 7's MIP display in smartwatch mode.

How long does the battery last?

Garmin rates about 29 days in smartwatch mode and around 84 hours in GPS mode for the 51mm AMOLED model. Heavy GPS and music use cut that sharply.

It is the largest Fenix 8 size and weighs noticeably more than the 43mm and 47mm versions. If your wrist is under about 7 inches, consider the smaller sizes.

Can I take calls on it?

Yes. The speaker and microphone let you answer calls paired to your phone and use voice commands. It does not have cellular service on its own.
