Do I need a subscription for calls and SOS?

Yes. LTE calling, LiveTrack and inReach messaging and SOS require a service plan and network or satellite coverage. The watch alone does not provide connectivity.

Can I use it without my phone?

Yes, with an LTE plan. You can make voice calls, share LiveTrack location and send messages or an SOS without a phone nearby.

Is the 51 mm case too big?

It is one of the largest fenix sizes. If you have small wrists, try it on first or consider a smaller fenix 8 model.

Can I swim and dive with it?

Yes. It carries a 40-meter dive rating and leakproof metal buttons, so it suits swimming and recreational diving.

The watch, a charging/data cable and documentation. No extra strap or wall adapter is listed.
