Is the Fenix 8 51 mm worth it over the Fenix 7?

The Fenix 8 adds an AMOLED display, speaker and mic for calls, a built-in flashlight and dive capability. If you want those, it is a clear step up; if you mainly need GPS and long battery life, the Fenix 7 costs less.

How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on mode and settings. The AMOLED screen and always-on display use more power; GPS and music use the most. Expect several days of typical smartwatch use and multi-day GPS tracking, shorter with heavy features.

Will the 51 mm case fit my wrist?

The 51 mm case is Garmin's largest Fenix size and suits medium to large wrists. Smaller wrists may find it bulky; the 43 mm and 47 mm Fenix 8 sizes fit better.

Can I make calls from the watch?

Yes, when the watch is paired to your smartphone, the built-in speaker and mic let you take and make calls from your wrist.

The box includes the Fenix 8 51 mm watch, a charging/data cable and a limited warranty from an authorized Garmin dealer. This bundle also adds a charging dock, a three-pack of silicone dust covers and a USB-C charging and sync cable.
