Our take on the Garvee 4-in-1 Adjustable Dumbbell Set, 88 lbs

The Garvee 4-in-1 is a dial-style adjustable dumbbell set that covers 5 to 88 lbs per hand, sold as a pair. It is aimed at home lifters who want one compact set instead of a rack of fixed dumbbells. The only new price found is $81.05 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, with no other new listings to compare against, so there is no recent range to judge it by. At that price it undercuts most adjustable sets in this weight class by a wide margin.

Best forHome lifters who want one set from warm-up to heavy pressingSmall spaces where a dumbbell rack won't fitBeginners building a first home gym on a budgetPeople who share weights between two lifters
Pros
  • Wide 5 to 88 lb range per hand covers most accessory and pressing work
  • Dial or pin adjustment changes weight fast between sets
  • One set replaces a full rack, saving floor space
  • Non-slip grips help on sweaty sets
  • $81.05 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026 is cheap for an 88 lb adjustable pair
Cons
  • Bulky plates make some exercises, like curls and overhead work, feel awkward
  • Adjustable dumbbells are slower to change than grabbing a second fixed pair
  • Dropping them is not an option; the mechanism can break
  • Long-term durability of budget dial systems is unproven
  • No stand or storage tray mentioned in the set

Questions and answers

Is the Garvee 4-in-1 adjustable dumbbell set worth it?
At $81.05 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get up to 88 lbs per hand. If you want a budget home set and don't need to drop weights, it is a reasonable buy.
How much weight does each dumbbell hold?
The set adjusts from 5 lbs to 88 lbs per dumbbell. That covers light isolation work up to heavy rows and presses for most lifters.
How fast can I change the weight?
It uses a dial or pin system, so changes take a few seconds per dumbbell. That is slower than picking up a second fixed pair but faster than loading plates.
Can I drop these dumbbells after a set?
No. Adjustable dumbbells have internal mechanisms that can break or jam if dropped. Set them down under control.
What comes in the box?
The set ships as a pair of adjustable dumbbells with the weight plates and handles. A stand or storage tray is not listed, so plan a spot on the floor or a rack.
When is the price lowest?
The only new price found is $81.05 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. Watch for holiday sales, when home fitness gear usually dips.
