Questions and answers

Is the Garvee 88-key piano good for beginners?

Yes, if the graded hammer action works as described. Weighted keys build proper finger strength from the start, and 88 keys cover beginner through intermediate music. Budget brands vary in key feel, so try one in person if you can.

How does it compare with a Yamaha P-45 or Roland FP-10?

Those name-brand boards cost roughly $500 or more but have proven sound engines, pedal support and service networks. The Garvee undercuts them by about half. You trade brand support and verified sound quality for the lower price.

Does it have a pedal and a headphone jack?

The listing does not state either. Most pianos in this class include a sustain pedal jack and a headphone output, but confirm with the seller before buying if you need them.

Is $249.99 a good price for it?

It is the only new price we see, listed at Target as of November 6, 2026. With one seller there is no lower competing price to wait for, so the figure is the market price rather than a discount.

How much space does it take up?

It is 51 inches wide, a standard 88-key width. Allow extra depth for a stand or bench and a few feet of clearance in front.

Is it portable enough to gig with?

It is a cabinet-style piano, so it is heavy and awkward to carry. For gigging, a lighter stage piano with a carry case is a better fit.

Where is the Garvee 51 in. 88-Key Weighted Digital Piano with Graded Hammer Action cheapest?

At Target, for $249.99, as of our latest check.
