Questions and answers

Is the Gewna 4550W worth it?
It is a reasonable value if you need 3,800 running watts of clean power and want a unit under 70 lbs. Compare its current price against similar inverter models before deciding, since pricing was not provided.
Can it run a refrigerator?
Yes. A typical fridge draws 600 to 800 running watts with a startup surge well under 4,550 peak watts, leaving room for lights and a router.
How loud is it really?
Gewna rates it at 72 dBA, which is about the level of a busy street. Expect it to be noticeable at a campground and better suited to a yard or job site.
How long does it run on a tank?
Gewna claims up to 9 hours in economy mode with a light load. At or near the full 3,800 watts, expect a few hours per 1.6-gallon tank.
Does it have electric start?
No electric start is listed, so it uses a manual recoil pull start. Plan on a firm pull, especially in cold weather.
When is it cheapest?
Generator prices often dip during spring pre-storm sales and Black Friday. Check the price history chart to see whether the current price is near its low.
