Our take on the Gilati 68 oz. Drink and Slushie Snow Cone Machine

The Gilati 68 oz. Snow Cone Machine is a countertop shaved-ice maker with a 2-quart hopper and a 200 W motor. It is ETL and DOE certified and built in a grey housing about 11.7 inches wide. It is a residential machine, not a commercial one. The best new price is $199.99 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no lower recent price to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Gilati snow cone machine worth $199.99?
That is the only new price listed, $199.99 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026. For occasional home use, cheaper snow cone makers exist; this one mainly buys you a larger 68 oz hopper and ETL/DOE certification.
Can it crush ice for slushies too?
Yes. The 200 W motor shaves ice fine enough for snow cones and slushie-style drinks. It is not a blender, so it shaves ice rather than mixing liquids.
How much ice does the 68 oz hopper hold?
68 oz, or about 2 quarts, which is roughly 8 to 10 small snow cones per fill. You refill from the top between batches.
Is it commercial grade?
No. Gilati lists it as residential use. For a stand or shop, a commercial shaver with a continuous-duty motor is the better fit.
What comes in the box?
Expect the machine itself plus basic paper cones or cups and a scoop, depending on the listing. Check the Home Depot listing for the exact included accessories.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store lists it new, so discounts are rare. Watch for seasonal summer markdowns and Home Depot promotions rather than expecting a price war.
Where is the Gilati 68 oz. Drink and Slushie Snow Cone Machine cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $199.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Gilati 68 oz. Drink and Slushie Snow Cone Machine?
Rated 3.9 out of 5 from 14 ratings.
