Our take on the Glarry 88-Key Foldable Digital Piano Keyboard

The Glarry 88-Key Foldable Digital Piano is a full-size keyboard that folds down to a 1.58-inch-thick slab weighing 8.82 lb, so it fits in a backpack or under a bed. It has semi-weighted keys, two built-in speakers, 128 preset sounds, an LCD screen, Bluetooth and USB, and runs on 120V AC power. The best new price is $79.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no recent price range to compare against. It is a budget practice and travel keyboard, not a substitute for a weighted 88-key piano.

Questions and answers

Is the Glarry foldable piano worth it for a beginner?
Yes, if the goal is learning note layout and basic songs on a tight budget. The semi-weighted keys will not build piano-grade finger strength, so plan to upgrade if you get serious.
Does it have weighted keys like an acoustic piano?
No. The keys are semi-weighted, meaning they have some resistance but feel much lighter than a hammer-action digital piano.
Can I use it with headphones or a pedal?
It has two built-in speakers and Bluetooth, but the listed connections are only Bluetooth and one USB port. Check the box contents before buying if you need a sustain pedal or headphone jack.
Does it run on batteries?
No. It is corded electric at 120 volts, so you need an outlet nearby.
How portable is it really?
It folds to 1.58 inches thick and weighs 8.82 lb, which is light enough to carry in a bag. The folding hinge is the part to treat gently.
When is the best time to buy it?
At $79.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is already near the bottom of the budget keyboard market. With one new seller, watch for holiday sales rather than expecting frequent discounts.
Where is the Glarry 88-Key Foldable Digital Piano Keyboard cheapest?
At Walmart, for $79.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Glarry 88-Key Foldable Digital Piano Keyboard?
Rated 3.9 out of 5 from 33 ratings.
