Our take on the Glintex 24V Electric Drift Go Kart with Adjustable Seat

The Glintex 24V Electric Drift Go Kart is a battery-powered ride-on kart with rear drift wheels and a seat that slides to fit different riders. Its 24V system is a step up from the 12V karts most kids start on, so it moves faster and holds speed better on pavement. At $253.99 at eBay as of November 3, it sits at the low end of what 24V drift karts typically sell for, with 8 stores listing it new.

Best forKids around 6 to 12 who have outgrown a 12V ride-onDriveway and smooth-pavement driftingFamilies wanting one kart that fits siblings of different heightsBudget buyers who want 24V power without premium branding
Pros
  • 24V drive gives noticeably more speed and torque than 12V karts
  • Adjustable seat accommodates a range of rider heights
  • Drift-style rear wheels allow controlled slides on smooth surfaces
  • Price under $260 is low for the 24V class
  • Simple, low-maintenance electric drivetrain
Cons
  • Drift capability is limited to smooth, dry pavement
  • Battery run time is short at full throttle and recharge takes hours
  • No suspension, so the ride is stiff on rough ground
  • Brand support and parts availability are thin compared with big toy names
  • Weight and size limits mean adults should not ride it

Questions and answers

Is the Glintex 24V drift kart worth it?
At $253.99 at eBay as of November 3, it is one of the cheaper 24V drift karts. It makes sense if your rider has smooth pavement to use it on and you accept short run times.
How fast does a 24V drift go kart go?
Most 24V karts in this class top out around 12 to 15 mph depending on rider weight and surface. Expect closer to the low end on grass or inclines.
How long does the battery last?
Riders typically get 40 to 90 minutes per charge, less if they drift constantly at full throttle. A full recharge usually takes 6 to 10 hours.
What age or size rider fits it?
It suits kids roughly 6 to 12, and the adjustable seat lets smaller and taller siblings share it. Check the listed weight limit before buying, since 24V karts vary.
Does it work on grass or gravel?
It runs best on smooth pavement, concrete or packed dirt. The drift wheels and lack of suspension make grass and gravel slow and bumpy.
When is the price lowest?
Ride-on prices usually dip during holiday sales and clearances in late fall. With 8 stores listing it, compare across them before buying.
Where is the Glintex 24V Electric Drift Go Kart with Adjustable Seat cheapest?
At eBay, for $253.99, 60% off, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Glintex 24V Electric Drift Go Kart with Adjustable Seat?
12 stores we checked sell it, including Macy's, eBay, Wayfair, Lowe's, bigtoysgreencountry.com.
