Our take on the GroovyPets Two-Dog Set 1100 Yard Auto Anti Bark Dog Training Collar System

The GroovyPets Two-Dog Set is a remote training collar system for households with two dogs. It uses vibration correction rather than shock, with a stated 1,100-yard range and a buckle collar that fits all breed sizes. Both units are rechargeable and the batteries are built in. It suits basic recall and nuisance-barking training, not precise obedience work.

Best forTwo-dog householdsOwners who want vibration-only correctionYard and field recall work at long rangeBasic nuisance-barking training
Pros
  • Two collars in one set, so both dogs are covered
  • Vibration-only correction with no shock mode
  • 1,100-yard claimed range is generous for home use
  • Rechargeable batteries, no disposable cells
  • 3/4-inch strap with a standard buckle
Cons
  • Vibration alone may not stop a determined barker
  • No tone or shock levels to step up correction
  • Buckle closure is slower to fit than a quick-release clip
  • Long range is only useful if you train at distance

Questions and answers

Is this a shock collar?
No. The listing describes it as a vibration training collar, so correction comes through vibration only. That makes it a gentler option, but also a weaker one for hard-to-break barking.
Will it fit a small dog and a large dog?
The strap is 3/4 inch wide and the set is listed for all breed sizes. Check the strap length against each dog's neck before buying, since a 3/4-inch strap is on the wide side for toy breeds.
How long does the battery last per charge?
The listing only confirms the batteries are embedded and rechargeable. It gives no runtime figure, so expect to recharge both units regularly and keep a spare charging routine for two dogs.
Can I use it on just one dog?
Yes. The set includes two collars, but you can run a single collar and keep the second as a spare or for a second dog later.
Is 1,100 yards realistic?
That is the claimed maximum range in open ground. Walls, trees and terrain cut it, so treat it as a best case and test the range where you actually train.
When is the best time to buy?
Two-collar sets usually drop around spring training season and Black Friday. Check the price history on this page before buying.
