Our take on the Happybuy 5KW 12V Diesel Air Heater with Silencer

The Happybuy 5KW 12V Diesel Air Heater is a Chinese-made parking heater kit that burns diesel to warm truck cabs, vans, boats and off-grid cabins without running the engine. It includes a silencer, remote control and LCD controller, and claims 5 kW output with roughly 0.64 L/h fuel burn and a 46°F to 95°F thermostat range. At $179.99 at Amazon as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what these kits cost new, well under the $1,000-plus Webasto and Eberspächer units it imitates.
