Questions and answers
- Is the HHD drone worth it for a beginner?
- Yes, if you want GPS return, a phone-view camera, and two batteries at a low price. It is not a substitute for a DJI-class drone in video quality or wind handling.
- Does it really fly 40 minutes?
- No single flight lasts 40 minutes. The 40 minutes is the combined time from the two included batteries, so expect roughly 15 to 20 minutes per battery.
- Is the camera real 4K?
- The camera records 4K files, but on budget drones like this the sensor is smaller and the footage is upscaled. Expect usable video in good light, not cinema quality.
- What is in the box?
- The drone, remote controller, two batteries, spare propellers, and charging cable. A phone is not included; you use your own for the FPV app.
- Does it need a phone to fly?
- No. You can fly with the remote alone. The phone is for the live FPV view, recording, and gesture or app-based flight modes.
- When is it cheapest?
- Only one store, Walmart, lists it new at $158.90 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no cross-store price to compare. Watch for holiday sales, when camera drones typically drop.
