Is the Holy Stone HS130 worth it for a beginner?

Yes, if you want a low-cost way to learn the basics. At $26.89 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it costs little enough that a crash is not a disaster. Expect basic video and no GPS hold.

Does the HS130 have GPS or return-to-home?

No. It relies on manual control, so it will drift with the wind and you fly it back yourself. Keep it close and fly in calm conditions.

How long does the battery last?

Holy Stone rates flight time at about 20 minutes. Real flights are usually shorter, especially in wind or at full speed, so buy spare batteries if you plan longer sessions.

Can I watch the camera live on my phone?

Yes. It streams 1080p FPV video to a phone over Wi-Fi, with a 120-degree field of view. Expect some lag and limited range compared with GPS drones.

What comes in the box?

The drone, a controller, a battery, spare propellers and a charging cable are the typical contents. Check the listing for the exact bundle before buying.

Is this a good price?

It is the only price recorded since November 3, 2026: $26.89 at Walmart. There is no lower recent price to wait for, and at this level it is cheap for a camera drone.
