Is $59.78 a good price for this bookcase?

It is the best new price found as of November 5, 2026, and only two stores list it new. With so few sellers there is little room to undercut, so $59.78 is close to the going rate.

How much weight can each shelf hold?

Each shelf is rated for 33 lb (15 kg). Spread weight evenly and keep heavy items on the lower shelves.

Will it fit large hardcover books?

The shelves are 9.3 inches deep, so standard hardcovers fit but oversized art books will overhang the front edge.

Do I need to anchor it to the wall?

Yes. A 71-inch-tall, narrow unit should be fixed to the wall, especially in homes with children or pets.

Are the shelves adjustable?

Yes, the shelves can be moved to change cubby heights, which helps fit taller items on some tiers.

What is included in the box?

The box contains the bookcase panels, shelves and the hardware needed for assembly. Tools are usually not included.

Our take on the Homfa 8-Tier Wood Bookcase 71'' Tall Storage Cube Organizer

The Homfa 8-Tier Wood Bookcase is a 71-inch-tall cube organizer with eight open shelves, each rated for 33 lb. It is narrow at 11.7 inches wide and 9.3 inches deep, so it fits tight walls and hallways where a wide bookcase will not. The best new price is $59.78 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, and only two stores list it new, so there is little price competition to shop around.

Adjustable shelves let you change cubby heights

Cons
