How tall and wide is the Sumac bookcase?

It measures 31.5 inches long, 12.8 inches deep and 72.83 inches high. Check ceiling and wall space before buying, since it is a tall unit.

Are the shelves adjustable?

The top two shelves adjust; the bottom two are fixed for support. That limits flexibility low down but keeps the base sturdy.

No. It is laminate wood construction, which keeps the price down but is not solid hardwood.

Does it need to be anchored to the wall?

The listing does not state a wall-anchor requirement. A 72.8-inch open bookcase should still be secured to the wall in homes with children or pets.

How hard is assembly?

Edenbrook describes it as partner assembly, meaning two people. All hardware is included, but expect to spend time on a five-shelf flat-pack build.
