Is the MistMate worth it at $24.95?

At $24.95 it is a low-risk buy for a bedroom or small office. Expect to refill the half-gallon tank about once a day.

How long does the tank last?

Roughly 10 to 12 hours on low and less on high, so plan on a refill each morning or night.

Does it need filters?

No. There are no filters or replacement pads, so the only ongoing cost is water and electricity.

Will it cause white dust?

Ultrasonic units can leave a fine white film when fed hard tap water. Distilled or filtered water avoids it.

How big a room does it cover?

It is built for small rooms such as a bedroom, nursery or desk area, not an open living space.

Prices on this model swing with seasonal demand, and late fall and winter tend to be higher. The $24.95 eBay price as of November 3, 2026 is near the bottom of its recent range.
