Is the Dreo 311 worth it at $39.99?

At $39.99 at Amazon as of November 3, 2026, it is a strong value for a quiet bedroom humidifier with app control. You give up warm mist and long-term tank replacement options.

How long does the 4L tank actually last?

Dreo claims up to 32 hours, but owners in dry climates report about 24 hours, and one reported under 12. Expect shorter runtime on high output or in very dry air.

Does it need distilled water?

Yes, distilled water is recommended. Tap water leaves mineral dust on surfaces and can clog the ultrasonic plate over time.

Can I buy a replacement tank?

No. Dreo does not sell the tank separately, so a damaged tank means buying a whole new unit.

Does it work with Alexa or Google Assistant?

Yes, it supports voice assistants and app control for scheduling, modes and humidity targets. Setup goes through the Dreo app.

What comes in the box?

The humidifier, user manual, cleaning guide, cleaning brush and two aroma pads, one pre-installed. Essential oils are not included.
