Our take on the Hydro Systems Lacey 6030 Acrylic Tub LAC6030ATO

The Hydro Systems Lacey 6030 is a drop-in acrylic bathtub with built-in whirlpool jets, sized for a standard alcove or deck installation. Acrylic keeps the tub lighter than cast iron and holds water temperature well, while the jet system adds a massage function over a plain soaker. At $2,036.25 at AF Supply as of November 6, 2026, it sits at the low end of what the two new listings show, so this is a reasonable moment to buy if the 6030 size fits your space.

  • Jets add a massage option over a plain soaking tub
  • Drop-in design works with a tiled deck or existing surround
  • Holds water heat better than enameled metal tubs
  • Current price is the lower of the two new listings
Cons
  • Acrylic can scratch and dull without careful cleaning
  • Jet plumbing and pump add installation and maintenance work
  • Drop-in fit depends on an exact rough opening
  • Pump noise is audible on most jetted acrylic tubs

Questions and answers

Is the Lacey 6030 a jetted tub or a plain soaker?
It is a jetted tub. The listing specifies a drop-in acrylic tub with jets, so it includes a whirlpool system rather than being a plain soaking tub.
What size opening does a drop-in 6030 tub need?
The 6030 in the model name points to a 60 by 30 inch footprint, the common alcove size. Confirm the rough opening and deck dimensions with the spec sheet before framing, since drop-in tubs need an exact fit.
Is $2,036.25 a good price for this tub?
It is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 6, 2026, at AF Supply. Jetted acrylic tubs in this size class commonly run from about $1,500 to $3,000, so this sits in the middle of that band.
Does an acrylic jetted tub need special maintenance?
Yes. Run the jets with a system cleaner periodically and dry the tub after use. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which dull the acrylic surface.
Can the jets be used without filling the tub?
No. The pump needs the water level above the jets to run safely. Running it dry can damage the pump.
What else is needed to install it?
Plan for a drain and overflow kit, a dedicated electrical circuit for the pump, and a waterproof deck or surround. The tub itself typically ships without a faucet or drain.
Where is the Hydro Systems Lacey 6030 Acrylic Tub LAC6030ATO cheapest?
At AF Supply, for $2,036.25, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Hydro Systems Lacey 6030 Acrylic Tub LAC6030ATO?
3 stores we checked sell it, including AF Supply, Wayfair, QualityBath.com.
