Our take on the iToolMax 12-Inch Cordless Electric Weed Wacker with 4-Wheel Base 3-in-1 Grass Trimmer

The iToolMax 12-Inch Cordless Weed Wacker is a battery-powered trimmer that converts between a wheeled edger, a walk-behind mower and a handheld trimmer. Its 12-inch rotary deck and four-wheel base are aimed at small yards and edges where a gas trimmer feels like overkill. It holds 4.7 out of 5 from 34 ratings, a small sample. No current price was supplied, so compare live store prices before buying.

Questions and answers

Is the battery included?
Many listings for this trimmer sell the tool only, with battery and charger separate. Check the box contents on the store page before ordering, since the price can differ a lot with a battery.
Can it replace a lawn mower?
For a small, flat lawn with light grass, the 12-inch deck can work as a trim mower. For anything larger or thicker, a real mower will be faster.
How does it compare with a gas string trimmer?
It is quieter and needs no fuel or cord, but a gas trimmer cuts thick brush faster. The wheeled base makes this one easier on your arms for edging.
What can the 12-inch deck cut?
Grass, weeds and light brush. Rotary blades bog down in woody stems and tall, wet growth, so cut those in passes.
When is the best time to buy?
Trimmers usually drop in price in late summer and around Black Friday. Compare the price history across stores before buying.
What do buyers say about the iToolMax 12-Inch Cordless Electric Weed Wacker with 4-Wheel Base 3-in-1 Grass Trimmer?
Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 34 ratings.
