Our take on the JewelStop 10k Solid Yellow Gold 1.5 Mm Gourmette Curb Chain Necklace 20" Lobster Claw Clasp

A 20-inch, 1.5 mm curb chain in solid 10k yellow gold, made by JewelStop and closed with a lobster claw clasp. At 2.88 grams it is a light, everyday-weight chain that sits close to the neck and layers easily. It ships in a jewelry box. The best new price is $466.24 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is 10k gold real gold?
Yes. 10k means 41.7% pure gold alloyed with other metals. It is solid gold, not plated, and holds up well to daily wear.
Is a 1.5 mm chain too thin for a pendant?
It can carry a small, light pendant, but it is not built for heavy charms. For anything sizable, step up to 2 mm or more.
What is the difference between curb and gourmette?
They are the same link style: flattened, twisted links that lie flat against the skin. Gourmette is the French term for curb.
Will a 20-inch chain fit me?
Twenty inches usually falls at or just below the collarbone on most adults. Measure a chain you already like to confirm the length you want.
Is $466.24 a good price?
Only one store lists it new at that price as of November 5, 2026, so there is no lower new price to compare. Check the per-gram cost against other 10k curb chains before buying.
What comes in the box?
The necklace and a JewelStop jewelry box. No extra chain or polishing cloth is listed.
Where is the JewelStop 10k Solid Yellow Gold 1.5 Mm Gourmette Curb Chain Necklace 20" Lobster Claw Clasp cheapest?
At Walmart, for $466.24, as of our latest check.
