Is the Kenmore Elite Litening worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you want a full-size upright with HEPA filtration and no cord. At $199.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it costs far less than most premium cordless uprights. Expect corded-level convenience, not corded-level suction.

How long does the battery really last?

Kenmore rates it at 40 minutes, but that is on the lowest of the three cleaning modes. On high mode expect closer to 15 to 20 minutes. A full recharge takes under 4 hours.

Does it work on pet hair?

Yes. The 11-inch Hair Eliminator power nozzle is designed to keep hair from wrapping the brush roll, and the sealed HEPA system captures pet dander. Empty the 2L cup after heavy pet-hair cleans.

What comes in the box?

One 24V lithium-ion battery, a 3-in-1 combination tool and a docking station for charging and storage. No extra crevice or turbo tools are included.

How does it compare with a corded upright?

It weighs 11.79 lb and cleans carpets and hard floors well, but suction is not as strong or as constant as a corded upright. Choose it for cordless reach and stairs, not for deep carpet extraction.

Cordless uprights usually drop around Black Friday and during spring cleaning sales. The current best new price is $199.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026; check the price history before buying.
