Our take on the Klutch KLiQ 20V 3/8 in Compact Brushless Cordless Impact Wrench Bare Tool

The Klutch KLiQ is a compact 20V brushless 3/8 in impact wrench sold as a bare tool, so you supply the battery and charger. It delivers up to 185 ft-lbs of torque at 3,250 RPM and 3,500 IPM, and weighs about 2.1 lb, which puts it in the subcompact class for lug nuts, suspension bolts and assembly work. The best new price is $65 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, and it is the only new listing tracked, so there is no recent range to compare against. At that price it undercuts most bare-tool brushless 3/8 in wrenches from the major brands.

Pros
  • Brushless motor for longer life and better runtime per charge
  • 185 ft-lbs is enough for most passenger-car lug nuts
  • 2.1 lb and compact body fit tight engine bays
  • 3,250 RPM and 3,500 IPM give fast rundown
  • Bare tool at $65 is cheap for brushless
  • 3/8 in hog-ring anvil takes standard impact sockets
Cons
  • Bare tool: no battery or charger in the box
  • Klutch 20V batteries are less common than major-brand packs
  • 185 ft-lbs falls short of crank bolts and heavy truck lugs
  • Only one new listing tracked, so price history is thin
  • No variable-speed trigger detail or LED worklight confirmed

Questions and answers

Is the Klutch KLiQ impact wrench worth it at $65?
For a brushless 3/8 in wrench, $65 bare tool is low. It makes sense if you already own Klutch 20V batteries; otherwise add the cost of a battery and charger.
Does it come with a battery and charger?
No. It is a bare tool, so you need a Klutch 20V battery and charger separately.
Will 185 ft-lbs remove lug nuts?
On most cars and light SUVs, yes. Tightly torqued or rusted fasteners and heavy-duty truck lugs may need a higher-torque 1/2 in wrench.
What sockets fit it?
It has a 3/8 in square drive with a friction hog ring, so use 3/8 in impact-rated sockets. The ring holds the socket without a pin.
How does it compare with a 1/2 in impact wrench?
It is smaller and lighter but has less torque. Choose 3/8 in for engine bay and interior work; step up to 1/2 in for suspension and truck lugs.
When is the best time to buy?
The lowest new price seen is $65 at eBay as of November 4, 2026. With only one store listing it, watch for holiday tool sales to beat that.
Where can I buy the Klutch KLiQ 20V 3/8 in Compact Brushless Cordless Impact Wrench Bare Tool?
2 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Northern Tool.
