Is this Kobalt kit worth it at $120?

At $120 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get four brushless 24V tools on one battery. That is good value if you need a starter set, less so if you already own Kobalt batteries or need two batteries.

How does it compare with a 20V kit from DeWalt or Makita?

Those brands cost more but have wider battery compatibility and pro service networks. Kobalt's 24V line is sold mainly through Lowe's, so battery and bare-tool deals are narrower.

How long does the included battery last?

Runtime depends on the tool and task; a single 24V max Li-ion pack will drain fast in the saw or sander. Expect to recharge between heavier jobs and consider a second battery.

What comes in the box?

Four 24V brushless tools, one Li-ion battery, a charger and a soft contractor bag. Confirm the exact tool list on the listing, since the sander and cutting tool models aren't specified here.

Kobalt kits tend to drop around holiday sales and Lowe's spring tool events. The $120 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range.

Our take on the Kobalt 24-volt 4-Tool Brushless Power Tool Combo Kit

This Kobalt kit bundles four 24-volt brushless cordless tools: a 1/2-in drill/driver with an all-metal chuck, plus tools for driving screws, sanding and cutting. Brushless motors run cooler and last longer than brushed ones, and the kit ships with one 24V max Li-ion battery and a contractor bag. Total kit weight is about 15.65 lbs. At $120 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, well under what a comparable four-tool kit from a major brand usually costs.
