Our take on the Ktaxon 87 inch W L Shaped Cloud Sectional Sofa with Chaise and Movable Ottoman

The Ktaxon 87-inch L-shaped cloud sectional is a deep, low-slung three-seater with a chaise and a movable ottoman, built around a soft 'cloud' look with round arms and cushion backs. It seats three, holds up to 1000 lb, and has a 25-inch seat depth and 19.7-inch seat height, so it sits low and deep. The plastic legs and spot-clean fabric point to a budget build. It has only 6 ratings at 3.7 out of 5, so buyer feedback is thin.

Best forLiving rooms where a deep, low lounge seat is the priorityRenters or first apartments on a tight furniture budgetBuyers who want a movable ottoman to reconfigure seatingSmall-to-mid rooms that fit an 87-inch L-shape
Pros
  • Deep 25-inch seats and a low 19.7-inch height give a lounge-like sit
  • Movable ottoman adds flexible seating or a footrest
  • 1000 lb maximum load is high for a fabric sofa in this class
  • L-shaped chaise covers corner seating for three
  • Spot-clean, wipe-clean fabric is easy to maintain
Cons
  • Plastic legs are the least durable leg option
  • Assembly is required
  • Only 6 ratings, so reliability is hard to judge
  • Cloud-soft foam fill tends to flatten with heavy daily use
  • Low 2.75-inch arms give little support for leaning

Questions and answers

Is the Ktaxon cloud sectional worth it?
At a budget price it delivers a deep, soft seat and a movable ottoman. Expect plastic legs and foam that softens over time, so it suits light daily use more than a family room.
How firm is the seat?
It is a cloud-style sofa, so the foam fill is soft rather than supportive. The 25-inch seat depth and 19.7-inch height make it a low, lounge-style sit.
Does it come with the ottoman?
Yes, the listing includes a movable ottoman that can sit at either end of the chaise or stand alone as extra seating.
How much assembly does it need?
Assembly is required. The legs are plastic and attach to the frame, and the sections join together, so plan on a couple of hours with two people.
Will it fit my room?
It is 87 inches wide overall with a 68.5-inch seat width and 25-inch seat depth. Measure your corner and doorway before ordering, since the L-shape needs clearance on both sides.
How do I clean it?
The fabric is spot-clean and wipe-clean only. Blot spills promptly and avoid machine washing the covers.
What do buyers say about the Ktaxon 87 inch W L Shaped Cloud Sectional Sofa with Chaise and Movable Ottoman?
Rated 3.7 out of 5 from 6 ratings.
