Questions and answers

Is it worth $31.99?
At $31.99 at CCMusic.com as of November 3, 2026, it is a cheap way to get a full-size, dimmable lava lamp. If you want LED efficiency or a quieter look, spend more elsewhere.
Does it need a special bulb?
It uses a 25-watt incandescent bulb, which is included. Replace it with the same wattage and type; an LED will not produce enough heat to make the lava flow.
How tall is it and where does it fit?
It stands 16.5 inches tall and about 4 inches wide, so it fits on a desk, nightstand or shelf. Leave clearance above it because the glass gets warm.
Can I dim it?
Yes. The touch switch includes dimming, so you can lower the brightness for a bedroom. Dimming also reduces the heat output somewhat.
What is in the box?
The lamp, its aluminum base, and the 25-watt incandescent bulb. It plugs into a standard 120-volt outlet; no batteries are needed.
When is it cheapest?
Novelty lamps like this usually drop around Black Friday and the winter holidays. Track the price history here and buy when it dips below the current $31.99.
