Is the 8-gallon kit worth it over small bottles?

If you pour regularly, yes: the per-ounce cost is much lower than 16-64 oz hobby bottles. For occasional crafters, a smaller kit is easier to store and use before it ages.

How clear and glossy does it cure?

It is formulated to cure clear with a glossy finish, which suits tumblers, coasters and tabletop pours. Deep pours and cold rooms can trap bubbles, so warm the resin and pour slowly.

How much resin do I need for a project?

Estimate by volume: measure your mold or pour area and depth, then mix only what you need. The 8-gallon kit is best for repeated pours, not a single small project.

A two-part kit: resin and hardener in the quantities that make up 8 gallons total. Check the listing for the exact bottle split and any included mixing cups or sticks.

Bulk resin usually dips during craft-supply sales and around the holidays. Compare the live price across stores rather than assuming one store is always lowest.

Our take on the LET'S RESIN Clear Epoxy Resin

LET'S RESIN Clear Epoxy Resin is a two-part casting and coating resin sold in an 8-gallon kit, aimed at high-volume crafters and small shops. It cures clear with a glossy finish, so it suits tumblers, coasters, molds and tabletop pours. The 8-gallon size is far larger than the usual 16-64 oz hobby bottles, which makes the per-ounce cost the main draw.
