Questions and answers

Is this bed frame worth $249.99?
At $249.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, you get a queen wood platform bed with an upholstered headboard and no box spring needed. Comparable queen platform beds with headboards often cost more, but this one has no written warranty, so weigh that against the price.
Do I need a box spring with the LUXOAK queen bed?
No. The frame has full wood slats and center supports, so a mattress sits directly on the slats. A box spring would only add height.
What mattress thickness works with this low-profile frame?
The frame is low profile, so a mattress around 8 to 12 inches keeps the bed at a normal height. A very thick mattress will make the bed sit tall.
What is included in the box?
The box contains the bed frame, slats and upholstered headboard. The mattress is not included, and assembly is required.
Does the LUXOAK bed frame come with a warranty?
No written warranty is listed. Check the retailer's return policy before buying, since the frame is heavy and returning it is a chore.
How much weight can it hold?
The frame is rated for up to 1,200 lb, which covers most couples plus bedding. The center supports carry the middle of the mattress.
Where is the LUXOAK Queen Bed Frame, Adult Wood Platform Bed with Upholstered Headboard, Ash Gray cheapest?
At Walmart, for $249.99, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the LUXOAK Queen Bed Frame, Adult Wood Platform Bed with Upholstered Headboard, Ash Gray?
Rated 3.6 out of 5 from 5 ratings.
