Is the Modern Sleep Cambridge worth it?

At $126.99 at eBay as of November 3, 2026, it is one of the cheapest upholstered queen platform beds you can buy. Expect basic materials and a firm slat base rather than hotel-grade construction.

Does it need a box spring?

No. The platform slats support the mattress directly, which suits foam and hybrid mattresses especially.

Will a queen mattress fit?

Yes, it is built for a standard queen mattress. The frame itself is larger than the mattress at 87 inches wide and 82 inches long, so measure your room and doorway first.

How much assembly is required?

It ships flat and needs full assembly, including the headboard, side rails and slats. Two people make it much faster.
