Is the Thump12v4 worth it for a solo acoustic act?

Yes. One unit covers vocals and guitar through the built-in mixer, and the PA voicing plus Feedback Eliminator suit small rooms. Add a second speaker later if you need stereo coverage.

How does it compare with the Thump12v3?

The v4 adds SoundCheck DSP with selectable voicings, Music Ducking, Feedback Eliminator, Outdoor Mode and Thump Connect 2 app control. The cabinet and 12-inch woofer format carry over.

Do I need a subwoofer with it?

For DJ and dance music, yes. The 12-inch woofer handles vocals and most instruments well, but deep sub-bass needs a powered subwoofer crossed over below it.

Can I link two Thump12v4 speakers wirelessly?

Yes. Bluetooth lets you link two units for stereo, and the Thump Connect 2 app adjusts settings on each. A wired link is the safer choice for critical gigs.

What comes in the box?

The speaker itself with an IEC power cable. Stands, covers and cables are sold separately.
