Is linen worth it over cotton sheets?

If you sleep hot or like a relaxed look, yes. Linen breathes better and softens over years. If you want crisp, smooth sheets, cotton is the better pick.

Does the fitted sheet fit a thick mattress?

The queen fitted sheet has deep pockets and an elastic edge, so it grips most mattresses up to about 16 inches. Very tall pillow-tops may still pull at the corners.

How should I wash linen sheets?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, then tumble low or line dry. Skip fabric softener and high heat, which break down the fibers.

What is included in the 4-piece set?

One flat sheet, one fitted sheet and two pillowcases, all queen size. Pillows and duvet cover are sold separately.

Will the gold color fade?

Stonewashed linen softens in color slightly over time, which is normal. Wash cold and dry out of direct sun to slow fading.

When is the best time to buy?

Linen sets usually see discounts around seasonal sales and major shopping holidays. Check the price history before buying at full price.

Our take on the MagicLinen 4-piece Linen Sheet Set in Gold Queen

MagicLinen's 4-piece linen sheet set includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet and two pillowcases, all in stonewashed European linen. Linen breathes well, softens with every wash and suits hot sleepers better than cotton sateen. The gold color is a warm, muted tone rather than a bright yellow. It is a premium-priced set, so it is worth checking the current price against its usual range before buying.
