Is linen worth it over cotton for a duvet cover?

Linen breathes better and wicks moisture, so it suits hot sleepers and warm rooms. Cotton is smoother and cheaper; linen wins on durability and airflow.

Does this include pillow shams?

No. It is the duvet cover only. Shams and sheets are sold separately.

Will it shrink in the wash?

Linen can shrink a little, especially in hot water. Wash cold and tumble low to limit it.

Does it fit a standard twin bed?

It is sized for Twin XL, the longer dorm mattress. On a standard twin it will be too long.

How should I care for it?

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Skip fabric softener, which coats the fibers, and expect a soft, wrinkled look.

Our take on the MagicLinen Linen Duvet Cover in Brown Twin XL

The MagicLinen Linen Duvet Cover is a single 100% European linen duvet cover in a solid brown, stone-washed for a soft, lived-in hand. Linen breathes well and gets softer with each wash, which is why it suits hot sleepers and year-round use. It is sold as the cover only, with no shams or sheets included. The Twin XL size fits dorm and extra-long twin beds.
