Our take on the Malacasa 12 Piece Ceramic Dinnerware Set for 4

The Malacasa 12-Piece Ceramic Dinnerware Set is a service for four with a modern, round profile. Twelve pieces cover the basics for a small household or a starter set. At $45.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a 12-piece ceramic set typically costs, so there is little room for a deeper discount.

Best forFirst apartment or dorm kitchenSmall households of four or fewerEveryday family mealsBuyers who want a full set under $50
Pros
  • Full 12-piece service for four in one box
  • Ceramic body with a modern round look
  • Low entry price for a complete set
  • Neutral styling that mixes with other pieces
Cons
  • Only one store lists it, so price competition is thin
  • Ceramic chips if knocked against sinks or other plates
  • No serving pieces or mugs beyond the 12 pieces
  • Few ratings, so long-term durability is not well proven

Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?
Most Malacasa ceramic lines are labeled dishwasher and microwave safe. Check the specific listing, since claims vary by finish.
