The Lockton is a 16-piece forged high-carbon stainless steel knife set with ABS handles and an acacia wood block that includes a built-in sharpener. Blades are full-tang and forged, which is unusual at this price, and the set covers chef's, bread, santoku, utility, paring and bird's beak knives plus steak knives and kitchen tools. At $71.99 at JCPenney as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the six stores that carry it.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 from 305 ratings, buyers generally find the set a strong value with sharp out-of-box edges and a good-looking block. Complaints center on hand-washing upkeep and handles that feel less solid than pricier sets.
