Is the Cho-Pat Original Knee Strap worth it?

At $8.70 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is a low-risk way to test whether pressure below the kneecap helps your pain. It suits tendon-related pain better than unstable knees.

Where should I wear it?

Just below the kneecap, over the patellar tendon, snug but not tight enough to pinch. Adjust it so it stays put when you bend the knee.

Will it stay on during running?

It usually does for shorter runs, but the elastic can loosen over longer efforts. Re-tighten it before you start.

Does it restrict movement?

No. The strap leaves the knee free to bend, unlike a full sleeve or hinged brace.

Is it cheaper than a knee sleeve?

Yes. At $8.70 it costs less than most sleeves, though it also gives less support.

Where is the Cho-Pat Original Knee Strap cheapest?

At Amazon, for $17.99, as of our latest check.

Where can I buy the Cho-Pat Original Knee Strap?
