Mecale 12-in 15-Amp Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw

Our take on the Mecale 12-in 15-Amp Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw

The Mecale is a 12-inch sliding compound miter saw with a 15-amp motor and dual bevel, aimed at trim carpenters and serious DIYers who want a full-size saw without a premium brand price. The sliding rails let it crosscut wide boards, and dual bevel means you can tilt the head left or right without flipping the workpiece. Its best new price is $235.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, with two stores listing it new. That is well below what comparable 12-inch dual-bevel sliders from established brands typically cost, so the value case rests on price rather than track record.

Questions and answers

Is the Mecale 12-inch miter saw worth it?

At $235.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get a 12-inch dual-bevel slider. If you need occasional trim or framing cuts and don't want to pay premium-brand prices, it is a reasonable buy. Check the return policy, since long-term reliability data on this brand is thin.

Does it come with a blade and stand?

Most saws in this class ship with a basic blade but no stand. Budget for a 12-inch fine-tooth blade for trim and a miter saw stand if you plan to move it between jobs. Confirm the box contents with the seller before ordering.

What is the difference between single and dual bevel?

A dual-bevel saw tilts its head both left and right, so you can cut a bevel without flipping the board. That matters for crown molding and long stock where flipping is awkward. Single-bevel saws cost less but force you to turn the workpiece.

How much space does a sliding miter saw need?

Sliding rails extend behind the saw, so it needs several feet of clearance at the back plus room for long boards on both sides. Plan on a stand or a bench against open space rather than a tight wall.

When is the best time to buy?

Miter saws tend to drop around spring remodeling season and Black Friday. The current $235.97 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is already low for a 12-inch dual-bevel slider, so waiting may not save much.
