The Mercer41 Nelsie is a queen-size platform bed with a velvet-tufted upholstered headboard and a finished back, so it can float in the room. It needs no box spring: 10 solid and manufactured wood slats support the mattress, and the frame is rated to 800 lb. Underbed clearance of about 8.26 inches gives room for storage bins. Assembly is required.
