Questions and answers

Is the Mercury Row tripod lamp worth it?
At $89.99 it is a reasonable price for a 66-inch tripod lamp from a major house brand. It is a style piece, not a feature-rich lamp, so buy it for the look.
Does it come with a bulb?
Most listings do not include a bulb. Check the socket type on the listing and budget for one bulb.
How tall is it and will it fit my room?
It stands 66 inches tall, about 5.5 feet. Leave clearance for the tripod legs, which spread wider than a single-stem base.
Is it good for reading?
The height puts the shade above a chair, but brightness depends on the bulb you choose. Use a bright bulb if you plan to read under it.
When is the best time to buy?
The price has been $89.99 since November 1, 2026, with no lower point recorded. Watch for Wayfair sitewide sales, which are the usual time this lamp drops.
Can I use it with a smart plug or dimmer?
The lamp has a standard on/off switch and no built-in dimmer. A smart plug works, but dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a dimmer plug.
