Is the Midea 32 cu. ft. French Door worth it?
For the capacity, yes. At $1,098.97 at PC Richard & Son as of November 5, 2026, you get 31.7 cu. ft., an AutoFill pitcher and an ice dispenser, which is a lot of fridge per dollar.
Will it fit a standard 36-inch opening?
Yes. It is 35.8 in wide and 69.9 in tall, so it fits a standard 36 in alcove. Check depth: at 33.7 in it is full depth and will protrude past standard counters.
How does the AutoFill pitcher work?
The pitcher sits in the door and refills itself from the water line, so you always have cold filtered water without opening the fridge or filling it by hand.
Does it need a water line?
Yes. The ice maker, dispenser and AutoFill pitcher all need a plumbed water supply, so plan for a line behind the fridge.
