Is the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 6-Tool kit worth it?

For a trade user starting or expanding an M18 setup, yes: six FUEL tools plus two batteries, a charger and a bag for $760 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026 is competitive against buying the tools separately. Occasional DIY users can spend less on a smaller combo kit.

Are these tools brushless?

The FUEL line uses brushless motors, which is Milwaukee's premium tier. Some listings describe the kit as brushed; check the individual tool model numbers before buying if brushless matters to you.

The kit includes the six tools, two 18V lithium-ion batteries, a charger and a contractor bag. The exact sixth tool can vary by kit, so confirm the tool list on the listing.

How does it compare with the M18 non-FUEL combo kits?

FUEL tools are brushless and generally more powerful and efficient than the brushed M18 tools in cheaper kits. The trade-off is a higher price, which this $760 bundle narrows.

How long do the batteries last?

Runtime depends on the tool and battery capacity; a circular saw or grinder drains a pack far faster than an impact driver. Two batteries let you rotate one onto the charger while you keep working.

Combo kits like this drop most during holiday sales and Milwaukee promotions. At $760 as of November 3, 2026 it is already near the low end of its recent range, so waiting has limited upside.

Our take on the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 6-Tool

The Milwaukee M18 FUEL 6-Tool kit bundles a circular saw, angle grinder, impact driver, reciprocating saw, work light and a sixth tool around Milwaukee's 18V lithium-ion platform, with two batteries, a charger and a contractor bag. The FUEL line is Milwaukee's brushless, high-output tier, so these tools are aimed at trade work rather than occasional DIY. At $760 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what a six-piece FUEL kit typically costs, though only two stores list it new, so comparison shopping is thin.
