Questions and answers

Is the Modern Flames Orion Traditional V2 worth $1,999?
It is a premium built-in electric fireplace, and at $1,999.00 at eBay as of November 5, 2026 you pay for the traditional flame look and thermostat control. Compare against other built-in models if heat output matters more than style.
How much space does 5,000 BTU heat?
About 400 square feet in a well-insulated room, roughly a bedroom or small living room. It supplements existing heat rather than replacing a furnace.
Does it need venting or a gas line?
No. It is electric and runs from a standard power source at up to 1,465W, so no chimney, vent or gas connection is required.
Can I run the flames without heat?
Yes. The flame effect works independently of the heater, so you can use it for ambiance in warmer months.
What is included in the box?
The fireplace unit and its controls are included; framing materials and wiring are not. Check the listing for the remote and any trim options before buying.
When is it cheapest?
With only one new listing at $1,999.00 as of November 5, 2026, there is no competing price to wait for. Watch for seasonal fireplace sales at that store.
