Our take on the Amantii Sierra Flame Electric Insert with Dual Steel Surround

The Amantii Sierra Flame is a ventless electric fireplace insert meant to drop into an existing wood or gas fireplace opening. It runs on 1500W and puts out up to 4,800 BTU, with a thermostat and remote included, and the dual steel surround frames the glass opening in a traditional style. The unit is 38 inches wide, 19 inches tall and 8.5 inches deep, and it can be plugged in on the left side or hard-wired. Its best new price is $1,699 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, with three stores listing it new.

Best forReplacing an old wood or gas insert without ventingLiving rooms and dens where a real fire is impracticalRenters or owners who want heat without a chimneyBuyers who want flame plus supplemental heat in one unit
Pros
  • Ventless design needs no chimney or flue
  • Up to 4,800 BTU of supplemental heat from 1500W
  • Thermostat and remote included
  • Plug-in or hard-wired installation
  • Dual steel surround gives a finished, built-in look
Cons
  • Only 4,800 BTU, so it supplements rather than heats a whole home

  • Traditional steel surround may not suit modern decors
  • Hard-wiring requires an electrician

Questions and answers

Is the Amantii Sierra Flame insert worth it?
It suits shoppers replacing an old insert who want flame and some heat without venting. At $1,699 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a mid-range insert price; compare it with gas and wood alternatives if you mainly want ambiance.
How much heat does it produce?
It runs at 1500W and up to 4,800 BTU, enough to take the chill off a room. It is supplemental heat, not a primary furnace replacement.
Can it be hard-wired or does it need an outlet?
Both. It comes plug-ready with the cord on the left side and is also hard-wire ready, so an electrician can wire it in if you do not want a visible cord.
What size opening does it fit?
The unit is 38 inches wide, 19 inches tall and 8.5 inches deep, so the firebox opening needs to clear those dimensions. Measure your existing opening before ordering.
Does it come with a remote and thermostat?
Yes. A remote is included and the unit has a thermostat, so you can set a target temperature rather than just switching it on and off.
When is the price lowest?
Fireplace inserts often discount in spring and summer, outside the fall and winter heating season. Track the price history and compare the three stores listing it new before buying.
Where is the Amantii Sierra Flame Electric Insert with Dual Steel Surround cheapest?
At Walmart, for $1,699.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Amantii Sierra Flame Electric Insert with Dual Steel Surround?
14 stores we checked sell it, including Electric Fireplaces Depot, Walmart, eBay, America Best Appliances, Archic Furniture.
