The Touchstone Fury Series is a 57-inch-wide recessed electric fireplace that sits just 4.5 inches deep, so it fits into a thin wall cavity instead of a full mantel build. It puts out 5,000 BTUs (1,500 W, 12 amps) to heat up to 400 square feet, with a front top vent, thermostat, timer and forced-air blower. You control it by remote or app, and it runs flame-only when you don't want heat. The best new price is $899 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, with three stores listing it new.

Lowest price we've seen: $899.00 on Nov 5 at StandsandMounts.com. Tracked across 11 stores since Nov 5.
Buyers rate it 4.8 out of 5 across 26 ratings, and the recurring theme is that it looks built-in rather than bolted on. Owners like the slim depth and the flame-only mode; complaints center on blower noise and the wiring work.
