Our take on the Mondawe 10-ft x 14-ft Metal Storage Shed with 3 Lockable Doors

The Mondawe 10-ft x 14-ft Metal Storage Shed is a large galvanized steel outbuilding with 761 cubic feet of space, three lockable doors and windows for light and ventilation. It is aimed at homeowners who need a roomy, weather-resistant place for garden tools, mowers, bikes or a small workshop. Metal sheds like this cost far less than wood or resin buildings of the same footprint and assemble from pre-cut panels. No current price was supplied for this listing, so compare it against the 10x14 metal shed market before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this shed worth it compared with a wood or resin shed?
It costs less than comparable wood or resin buildings and needs no painting or rot repair. The trade-off is thinner walls, more noise and a more fiddly build.
How hard is it to assemble?
Plan on two people and most of a weekend. The panels are pre-cut, but the instructions are basic and the frame must be squared on a level base.
Does it need a foundation?
Yes. Set it on a level concrete slab or a sturdy timber platform and anchor it down, since a large metal shed can lift in high wind.
Will it rust?
The galvanized steel resists rust, but scratched or cut edges can corrode. Touch up chips and keep the base dry.
Do the doors lock?
Yes, all three doors are lockable. Use your own padlock, since locks are usually not included.
When is the price lowest?
Metal sheds tend to drop in late summer and around Black Friday. Track the price history and buy when it falls below the recent average.
