Our take on the Mondawe Smokeless Stainless Steel Fire Pit with Ash Pan

The Mondawe Smokeless Stainless Steel Fire Pit is a 19.5-inch round wood-burning pit with a built-in ash pan for easier cleanup. Its smokeless design relies on secondary air flow that reburns smoke before it leaves the bowl, which cuts down on smoke and sparks compared with a basic open pit. At $157.30 at Best Buy as of November 3, 2026, it sits at its only listed new price, so there is no lower recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is this fire pit really smokeless?
No wood fire is fully smokeless. The secondary air vents reburn much of the smoke, so it smokes far less than an open bowl, especially with dry, seasoned wood.
How big is it and how many people does it suit?
It is 19.5 inches wide, so it fits small patios and balconies. Plan on two to four people around it; it is not a large-group pit.
What is included in the box?
The pit, its ash pan and the parts needed to assemble it. A cover, spark screen and poker are not listed, so budget for those separately.
Is $157.30 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, at Best Buy as of November 3, 2026, so there is no cheaper recent price to beat. Compare it with similar 19- to 22-inch smokeless steel pits, which often run $120 to $250.
Does stainless steel mean it will not rust?
Stainless steel resists rust better than painted steel, but it can still spot or discolor with heat and moisture. Empty the ash pan and cover it when not in use.
What warranty does it have?
A 1-year limited warranty on parts.
Where is the Mondawe Smokeless Stainless Steel Fire Pit with Ash Pan cheapest?
At Best Buy, for $157.30, as of our latest check.
