Is the Morimoto Elite 9005 worth it?

If your car uses 9005 bulbs and you want a strong HID upgrade with a simple harness, it is a solid pick and well rated by owners. Check your state's rules on HID retrofits first, since they are restricted in many places.

Should I get 35W or 50W?

35W is the safer choice for stock housings and wiring and still gives a big jump over halogen. Choose 50W only if your housings and wiring can handle the extra heat and current.

Which color temperature should I pick?

4K gives a warm, near-stock look with the most usable light. 5K is neutral white, and 6K adds a blue tint with slightly less visible output.

The kit includes the ballasts, 9005 bulbs, and the bi-xenon harness. Confirm bulb type and wattage at checkout, since the listing covers several versions.

Only Morimoto Lighting lists it new at $253.60 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no second store to compare against. Watch for seasonal sales from that seller.
