Is the Morimoto Elite HID street legal?

No. It is sold for off-road use on ATVs, snowmobiles and off-road vehicles. Check your state laws before using it on public roads.

Do I need the Canbus harness?

Only on vehicles that throw a bulb-out warning after install. The optional standalone Canbus harness or capacitor link fixes that.

Two XB 2.0 ballasts, two XB HID bulbs and the wiring harness you select. The capacitor link is an optional add-on.

Should I get 35W or 50W?

35W runs cooler and draws about 4.4A at 14V, which suits most ATV and snowmobile charging systems. Pick 50W only if your electrical system can handle the extra draw.
