Is the 1540 V4 good for overpronation?

Yes. It is a stability shoe with a firm midsole and support features designed to control overpronation, which is why runners and walkers with flat feet favor it.

How does it compare with the 1540 V3?

The V4 keeps the stability setup and updates the midsole to Fresh Foam X for a softer, more cushioned feel. The overall fit and support are similar.

Is it good for walking and standing all day?

Many buyers use it as a walking shoe for long shifts. The cushioning and support suit extended time on feet, though it is on the heavy side.

Does it run true to size?

Most owners say it fits true to size, and New Balance offers extended and wide sizes for those who need more room.
