Questions and answers

Is the Nine Stars sensor trash can worth it?
For a bathroom or desk bin, yes. It is cheap for a touchless lid, but expect to empty it often and replace batteries.
What size bags does it take?
A 1.9-gallon bin takes small 2 to 4-gallon liners. Standard kitchen bags will be far too big.
Does it need batteries?
Yes. The sensor and lid run on batteries, so keep spares on hand; owners report they drain faster than expected.
Will it fit in a small bathroom?
Yes. At 5.9 inches wide and 12.2 inches high it fits beside most toilets, though it can tip on carpet.
Is $21 a good price?
It is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 5, 2026, and low for a sensor bin this size.
Can it be used in a kitchen?
Only as a small countertop or compost bin. At 1.9 gallons it is too small for household kitchen waste.
Where is the Nine Stars Plastic Sensor Trash Can cheapest?
At eBay, for $21.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Nine Stars Plastic Sensor Trash Can?
Rated 4.4 out of 5 from 926 ratings.
