Questions and answers

Is the Nuloom Petra rug worth $619.99?
It is a handmade wool-blend runner, and that construction usually costs more than machine-made rugs. At $619.99 at Lowe's as of November 4, 2026, it is a premium buy for a 2'6" by 8' runner, so compare it against other handmade wool runners before deciding.
Does this rug shed?
Wool-blend rugs often shed at first, and the 20% viscose can add to it. Regular vacuuming without a beater bar helps, and shedding usually settles over time.
What size is this rug?
It is 2'6" wide and 96 inches (8 feet) long, a runner shape. Check your hallway or doorway length before ordering.
Do I need a rug pad?
Yes. The listing recommends a non-skid pad on smooth surfaces, and a flatweave this thin can slide without one.
How do I clean it?
Spot clean only. Blot spills promptly and avoid soaking the viscose, which can mark when wet.
Is it safe for high-traffic areas?
Wool is durable, so it suits hallways and living rooms. The viscose content is the softer part and may show wear sooner in the busiest spots.
Where is the Nuloom Petra High-Low Wool-Blend Area Rug cheapest?
At Lowe's, for $619.99, 52% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Nuloom Petra High-Low Wool-Blend Area Rug?
Rated 3.9 out of 5 from 138 ratings. Common complaints: Shedding is common in wool rugs.
